Over 40 students from Years 8 and 11 were exempted from school during the first two lessons on the 14th June 2013, in order to take part in clean-up mission in Cheltenham Park.

This action is part of the actvities to be completed as part of the Comenius Project.  MPG is taking part in this project together with partner schools from Poland, England and Malta and this particular activity falls under the theme of environmental protection.

The voluntary helpers picked up beer bottle caps, broken glass pieces and plastic rubbish.  They also found some syringes and a knife but these were picked up under the careful supervision of the teachers involved.

A big thank you to all students for their participation
